Top-ranked, award-winning Downtown Greenville's jewel is the historic Reedy River Falls that sprawls through Falls Park on the Reedy. Falls Park is the historic "cradle of Greenville" of the Cherokee Indian Nation, first European settlers and mills. It features the Liberty Bridge, a 345-foot suspension bridge over Reedy River and has ben named a "Top U.S. Park" by TripAdvisor several times. We’ll take a 40-minute drive to southern Greenville County to Cedar Falls Park where the Reedy River widens to over 200 feet cascading over rocks and boulders, one of the most geographically significant vistas of the river. We will enjoy lazy days by the river, leisure strolls, trails, free time and lunch on your own in picnic groves of Cedar Falls Park. The park is a historic site where we can learn about the Cherokee Indian Nation, The Falls and Fork Shoals, South Carolina.
